  1. In a medium saucepan whisk together the cocoa powder and Muscovado sugar.
  2. Whisk in the milk, add the canela, orange zest, pepper and salt and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Add the chocolate and turn off the heat.
  4. Let stand 5 minutes, then stir until the chocolate is melted and the cocoa is smooth.
  5. Remove the orange zest and canela and serve topped with whipped cream if desired.
