INDIA TREE ALDER SMOKED SEA SALT
INDIA TREE Alder Smoked Sea Salt is reminiscent of the Northwest Indian potlatch tradition. Pacific sea salt is cold-smoked for 24 hours using red alder wood until it absorbs the wood's full, rich aroma and flavor.
Use it to season salmon, halibut, and other fish. Combine it with crushed green peppercorns to season burgers, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob. This baked salmon recipe serves four:
Rub 1 1/2 lbs of salmon fillet with 2 Tbsps. extra virgin olive oil. Place the fillet, skin down, in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle 1 Tsp. INDIA TREE Alder Smoked Sea Salt evenly over the top. Roast the fish in a preheated 300 F. degree oven, just until barely cooked through, about 30 minutes.
