Description
Most crushed peppermint is colored with Red 40 and flavored artificially. Ours gets its red from vegetable juice and its flavor from real peppermint oil. The candy canes are broken into coarse shards that keep their stripes and their crunch – on hot chocolate and peppermint mochas, brownies and bark, or anything frosted.

Cane sugar, corn syrup, vegetable juice (for color), confectioner's glaze, natural peppermint oil.

Storage
Store tightly sealed, away from heat and moisture. Damp air will fuse the shards into a block.
