Description
Same cardamom as the pods, with the husks taken off. That saves you the crushing and picking, and it means you can grind straight into a batter or a coffee grinder without fishing out papery bits afterward.
The husk is also what keeps cardamom fresh, so shelled seeds fade sooner than whole pods do. If you bake with cardamom often, these are the ones to buy. If the jar is going to sit in the cupboard for a year, buy the pods instead.
