Description
Chili powder isn't a single chile ground up. It's a blend built around chili con carne, with chile pepper doing the work and garlic and spices filling in behind it. Mild to medium heat, more savory than sharp.
Chili, obviously. Also taco filling, black beans, cornbread, rubs for pork and beef, and stirred into tomato sauce or a pot of beans that needs some backbone. This is the one that empties fastest.
