How to Use
- Toast & Grind
- 1–2 tsp; toast 30–60 sec until fragrant, then grind for blends and rubs.
- Tempering (Tadka)
- 1 tsp seeds bloomed in hot oil 10–20 sec; add aromatics and vegetables.
- Chili, Curries & Tacos
- 1–2 tsp ground per quart or lb; bloom in fat early in cooking.
- Rice & Beans
- 1 tsp seeds in oil; sizzle, then add rice/beans to coat before liquid.
