How to Use
Toast & Grind
1–2 tsp; toast 30–60 seconds until fragrant, then grind for rubs and blends.
Pickling Brine
1–2 tsp per cup; lightly crack seeds and simmer briefly.

1 tsp bloomed in hot oil with cumin/mustard seeds to start dals and sabzi.
Rubs & Roasts
1 Tbsp coarsely crushed per lb chicken or pork; add salt and garlic to taste.
